It does look like Marquette was bought out by Lincoln, but it seems to be very hard to find any information on these. I even found an owners manual for this one online, so that gave me a little bit of reading to do. I seems that Clarke and Forney are very similar, giving me another level of interchangeability if needed. Looking around on Amazon, it does seem like I could find consumables and replacement guns fairly easily. It looks like Clarke is still alive and kicking, albeit mostly in the UK. I recently came across 2 different welders, and am curious as to whether anyone has any feedback on these two models, as well as whether they would be a good choice for general learning purposes. I've been looking at picking up a 110v MIG setup for awhile to start learning how to weld, but since there's not really a need for one, I haven't been able to justify the Miller/Lincoln/Hobart prices. Seems like there's a lot of welder threads in this forum right now, so why not tack on another one.
